Gladiator II

09/10 - intertwined with the first so continues the story. All good acting - special effects believable and superb. Will go back for more.

I’d watch Gladiator again, but probably not Gladiator 2. Some scenes lacked logic. Loved the intro though, I was instantly captivated. Great actors, although somehow I didn’t enjoy Connie N.
VERY graphic scenes, too much.

Lived up to the hype but nothing beats the first. Get Denzel his Oscar

The acting in Gladiator 2 was phenomenal—Denzel Washington absolutely delivered. His performance was so powerful that I found myself disliking his character, which speaks to how well he embodied the role. The continuation from the first film to this one was seamless, with a strong storyline that kept me engaged. While the CGI wasn’t perfect, the compelling narrative more than made up for it. It doesn’t surpass the original, which remains in my top three favorite movies of all time, but it’s a solid follow-up and definitely worth watching.
