From Up on Poppy Hill

I would have loved it, had it not taken a random,, incest turn? Like they’re not actually siblings but it made it so weird that they were love interests. I guess it is a spoiler that they aren’t siblings, but i honestly feel like that’s necessary context to enjoy the movie

Cute love story but the whole siblings sub-plot made me very uncomfortable throughout the movie . Glad that they discovered that they weren’t siblings tho but I give this movie a 6.5/10

It was beautiful, Another studio ghibli masterpiece

Definitely one of Ghibli’s more grounded releases. Liked the rallying to save their building. The sibling issue helped conflict but was off.
