Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood

Looking in the mirror scared me more than this movie.

The plot was better than the last few but the telekinesis stuff was odd. Why did the house blow up like that? What they cooking in the basement? None of the kills were very entertaining but the fight back scene was good. The doctor using the Mom as a meat shield was wild.

Despite the lame telekinesis angle, this is one of the better installments largely in part to Kane Hodder’s portrayal as a hulking, unstoppable Jason. This is the Jason we all know and love. The beloved sleeping bag kill scene is found in this one. Highly enjoyable!

It’s an old movie, for it’s time it was scary. But its still a decent movie to this day. 6.5/10

One of the better ones, it was cool to see jason have a powerful opponent and the kills were good
