i was so excited when i first saw the trailer for thus film and don’t get me wrong, i really enjoyed it and i love Amandla, she’s a phenomenal actress. But this movie just lacked something for me? It was such a beautiful concept but it was so underwhelming in the end

Amandla Stenberg & Nick Robinson were absolutely amazing in this movie!! The layouts are somewhat different from the book but still it progresses well. It was so well made & is just one of those movies I can watch over & over & feel like i’m watching it again for the first time!❤️

HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR KID LOCKED INSIDE FOR NEARLY 2 DECADES FOR NO REAL REASON AND SLEEP WELL??? AND HOW ARE YOU A DOCTOR AND DON’T THINK TO GO SEE A THERAPIST??? Anyway, I’m glad I finally was able to watch this, it was pretty cute n calm🫶🏾.
