5/10 It’s alright. Pretty similar to the original introduction where it’s just Shinji being thrown into the EVA and complaining the whole time. The animation is smoother but also loses that old style charm it had. Excited for the other rebuild films as I wasn’t a big fan of parts of the series and the end of evangelion story tbh…

the angels art is amazing they look like they look like they arnt supposed to be in the universe if the art was paired with the 90’s show would have been absolutely cinematic but the voice acting was kind of a down fall it sounds cheap especially shinji

Wasn’t bad and has some pretty good animation. It did a way better job at explaining the story. (5.8/10)
