Eat Pray Love

Disappointed. Maybe it’s because it’s been talked up so much by my friends and family as “one of the best movies you’ll ever watch”.
Wasn’t terrible. Wasn’t great. Didn’t hate it. But probably won’t watch again.

This movie is about a dumb broad who leaves her marriage because she’s “unhappy” even though she’s never communicated with her husband any of the issues. She moves across the world hoping to find some sort of happiness. Ends up with some guy at the end and probably unhappy later

10/10⭐️ a movie that puts so many lessons and things that you need to learn in your life. I didn’t understand some things and I think that’s because I have to live my life a little longer to do so. everyone needs to watch this and take from this movie what they need.

I really don’t know what to think about this movie. She goes on a trip doing what she always dreamt, she found peace and then at the end the writers decide to let her go with a person she didn’t feel safe with only cause her Bali’s spiritual guide kinda give her the permission?🤷🏻‍♀️

love julia roberts but it’s quite upsetting how she leaves her husband to “find herself” just to end up with another man at the end. the healers were right in saying that everyone needs affection but it should never complete your healing or yourself

she longed for purpose, peace, and a life that was hers to shape. somehow, i feel the same yearning too.
