Earwig and the Witch

I expected to not like it bc of what people said about it, but I did actually enjoy it. Really, my only two complaints are the animation and the ending. I couldn’t watch it in Japanese, and the animation style made it way more apparent that it was dubbed haha but I got over it.

Quality was horrible and the movie did not give me the “studio ghibli” kind of vibe at all. Not only was the story line bad but the main character is basically just an annoying, ungrateful little brat who only cares about herself. The movie made zero sense.

Music was great but the main character was mid. Lowkey kinda disappointed seeing as this is a Miyazaki film

First ghibli movie and I genuinely hated it

I kind of got bored watching this
But it’s a very fascinating movie and seeing all the connections of the characters in the past gibli movies

i feel like i would’ve liked it more if the animation wasn’t so obnoxiously bad. It just made it feel so low budget. Idk how to explain it but it reminded me of coraline in a way😭 i think that’s just me tho. it wasn’t horrible ig
