Dr. No

It’s very dated. Slightly cringy lol. The chauvinism. Connery is fantastic and is very smooth. No gadgets yet. Violence was actually minimal and the fight choreography was a joke. Good dialogue and monologuing. Let’s see how the series progresses.

The original and still one of the best, had a pace to it which is oddly lacking from later instalments (which have a tendency to drag) a great intro to the world of 007 (8/10).

It’s an incredibly fun watch reminded me of Batman 66 and superman 78. James Bond is a complete fucking badass. The combat is ahead of time and the pacing made it feel modern. It’s a beautiful film because of the location shots. One complaint is that the story is kinda mid 8.9/10
