Donnie Darko

This movie was the biggest mind fuck I’ve ever experienced. I was left very confused after my 1st viewing but after I did some reading and rewatched the movie, I came to really appreciate and love this film. I absolutely love the journey it took to fully take in this movie.

I want to believe in the tangent universe theory, even though the story can be interpreted in more ways. I just hope that there is another universe where neither Donnie nor Gretchen have to be sacrificed🫂

I could watch this movie ten times in a row and still catch little details every time. Make sure to watch the theatrical cut (original) instead of the directors cut version, it’s way better.

i watched this before a few years back but last week i watched it again and then yet again the next night because i was so affected by it. idk why i wasn’t the first time but damnnnnn i couldn’t think about anything else for days on end… its such an amazing movie
