Absolutely brutal and horrendously sad. I recommend if you want to feel horrible for the family this movie follows.

One of the most unsettling Stephen King stories, and that says a lot since there’s nothing g supernatural about it. Kathy Bates come through with a top five career best performances. Part “who dunnit,” part psychological drama, all fantastic filmmaking.

I honestly liked it a lot, it’s got a phenomenal story that details what a mother will put herself through just to give her children the life she never had. It’s also got some amazing shots and I love the eclipse scene, there’s just so much emotion in the scene😫🫡

Very underrated Stephen King film, amazing performances and a complex unrelenting story

The nonlinear narrative structure and the performance from Kathy Bates masterfully weave a harrowing tale of motherhood and repression in a world that is uncaring and cold. “Sometimes being a bitch is the only thing a woman has to hold on to”.
