The most important film in history. My dad told me stories of what happened when this movie came out and I couldn't believe it. For as many racists that hated the film, he said there was also a lot of unity between races, or at least in his neighborhood. Spike Lee is 1 of the 🐐s

the lighting, the acting, the story, the camera work do i need to continue? this is a masterpiece. everything is so perfect, spike lee left no fucking crumbs.

If he never did another thing, Lee would be in the books for this one. The catalyst for my lifelong appreciation of Giancarlo Esposito, even if he takes up a lot of Latino roles and isn’t even Latino. (I’m not actually mad about this, it’s just jokes.)
