Diary of a Wimpy Kid

This was a great movie I mean eating the cheese was nasty but other than that I really related to this movie

The animation was good, but there was no need for this movie. The first 3 Diary of a Wimpy Kid movies were much better than this. One thing I give it is that it’s much better than Diary of a Wimpy Kid Long Haul, but this movie was just unnecessary and I wouldn’t watch it again.

Best animated one

This was honestly pretty solid, but I was definitely not the target audience for it. As someone who grew up with the original live-action movies, I just couldn’t help but compare the whole time, and this really wasn’t as good. A lot got cut out because they felt the need to keep it under an hour, and the performances obviously weren’t nearly as iconic or great.

I see people say this was “unnecessary,” and I disagree completely. If it was another live-action take on the first movie, I’d get it. But I honestly think it’s really cool getting an animated take on the story, especially when the animation was actually pretty high-quality. Nothing fantastic, but an enjoyable enough time.
