Creature from the Black Lagoon

the creature is so very cute and silly :) i giggled so much at him but his design is actually really cool i liked it a lot, i love kay and i have a burning irrational hatred for david, i think the creature would treat her better but that’s just me, fun movie though

7/10 ahead of its time the camera work is fantastic especially seeing the creature swim and the fight scenes underwater was really all well done

Problematic AF but ya know... swamp monster so :)

One of the classic golden age horror movies that holds up a bit better than some others. The costume design and characters are all great, and the plot leaves a little bit of room for discussion about the nature of the creature.
