Color Out of Space

Like every other independent Nicolas Cage movie, Nic Cage steals the spotlight. His performance carried me to the end eventually, and into insanity. Speaking of insanity, the visuals were amazing although it was starved of decent screen time. The score was ethereal and was one of the reasons I stayed. My main issue is with the context itself. It's boring and the pacing is horrible, with barely anything happening. It needed to remain short, like the story. The mystery and creepiness create tension but it goes on for too long, so I lost interest.

overall quite fun. the vibrancey sets the tone well and there is some fab body horror.

A surprisingly good film. Nic Cage does a great job along with the other cast members. The story based on a Lovecraft story is intense. Good watch.

Weird Cage is the best Cage
