Color Out of Space

Like every other independent Nicolas Cage movie, Nic Cage steals the spotlight. His performance carried me to the end eventually, and into insanity. Speaking of insanity, the visuals were amazing although it was starved of decent screen time. The score was ethereal and was one of the reasons I stayed. My main issue is with the context itself. It's boring and the pacing is horrible, with barely anything happening. It needed to remain short, like the story. The mystery and creepiness create tension but it goes on for too long, so I lost interest.

It was.....unfathomable chaos. Cinematography was excellent, script and acting was also great. I think its really hard to capture what lovecraft is about and the monster was great. Very "the thing vibe". I honestly cant say why im only rating it a 7.0/10 becayse it is good.

This was a disgrace of a movie. 2/10 the story was everywhere, and nothing even remotely made sense. This movie WAS ABOUT A COLOR. I thought the name was just irony but literally this movie was a waste of 2 hours that ill never get back in my life. Fuck magenta.
