I used to watch it once a year and it shaped me to a woman who’s not afraid to be true to who she is, to be compassionate and to speak up about my boundaries. I learn new things every time I watch it. The main character also learns to be brave and to quit her bad habits. 🤍✨

I like Johhny, the plot is quite good but I found the film sooo boring.

There’s a lot to learn from this film… At first, I thought it took an anti-Christian stance, and yet it ends with the beauty of Christianity and the freedom of women with that. I mean that everyone should be free to be as they are, with the ability to experience life to the full.

Might be one of my favourite of all time, the mother daughter storyline, women being abused by men and then rediscovering themselves and freeing themselves. I loved all of the various themes and plots, I would watch this over and over and never get tired.
