Chappie

ugh such a beautiful film, wish it got the love it deserved. chappie is easily the most adorable & loving robot character right next to wall-e. it’s just such a powerful story, and it’s so well told. the action is so good, the vfx, the sfx, the cinematography, & the characters just simply wow. and omg the production design of the warehouse, the graffiti walls, the vibes, my dystopian fantasy. ugh, i just wish there was a sequel, fucking critics such balls. neill (the director) originally wrote chappie as a trilogy. when i’m a millionaire i will fund it to make it happen. mark my words. 10 / 10

This movie made me cry over a robot. The attachment you get to Chappie in just a short amount of time is insane and the fact that they convey so much emotion with a robot is shocking. 10/10 movie

Chappie is a good movie. I love robot related movies, I Robot, I Am Mother, so obviously Chappie was a good fit. Obviously I don’t like Die Antwoord (main characters being Yolandi nd Ninja) considering the messed up things they’ve done. But movie itself is great, I recommend 👍

Definitely underrated. Only thing keeping me from loving it, is the lackluster antagonist

I’ve been wanting to see this since it came out almost 10 years ago, I just never got around to it. I loved what Neill Blomkamp did with District 9 and I was curious what he would do with this one. It was a nice surprise to see Dev Patel, Hugh Jackman and Sigourney Weaver.
