Boston Strangler

There is a quietly persistent, simmering and incendiary flare to this film, which, by virtue of Knightley's knowing performance and the well-written script, feels tired and afraid.

7.2 - nothing ground breaking, very little stands out. But I enjoyed it. It does look great, and Knightley and Coon are solid. It looks great. The feminist lens and avoidance of shine to the suspected killers are refreshing. It’s a touch long but worth at least one watch.

7/10 usually I don’t like thrillers, but this film was really excellent, a powerful story about fighting for the truth even when the rest of the people who should care have moved on, another example of “the truth is weirder than fiction” at the end
