Blue Velvet

i understand its a david lynch film, but these types of films really dont sit well with me. they just threw away the ear plot not even a third of the way into the movie. rape scenes are too much for me in any movie. it was my main problem with A Clockwork Orange as well

a remarkable film that is able to tell a largely coherent story with lynch’s trademark surrealism and assorted scenes that feel nearly dreamlike; the symbolism and writing remains strong throughout while incredible music and performances heighten the experience to another level

really really weird but i kind of liked it

David Lynch definitely did his thing with this one
