i went in expecting a horror movie, but i got a deep depiction of grief and how a child’s mind can process loss (with a touch of fantasy of course)

honestly mike flannagan has yet to miss in my book

This is such a beautiful movie. At times it was boring but that ending wrapped it up so nicely. This is NOT your average, generic horror movie. It’s truly one of a kind.

Not my fave Flanagan but worth a watch if you like his work

Mike Flannigan projects should come with a box of tissues. Scaring you senseless one minute, and completely turning your emotions upside down by the end. This is far from his best work, but it’s still miles beyond 99% of any director working today.

I think it told the story it needed to but a real plot was missing I deal. 6/10.
