Batman: Gotham by Gaslight

Batman in the 1800s is such a cool idea! I loved the story! Crazy that the villain was Jack the Ripper! Seeing a lot of cameos was dope! And I did not see the ending coming tbh! Amazing movie!

Spectacular give me 14 more movies of Batman investigating murders on the 19th century.

It was a really cool concept — Batman in the Victorian era. However, I feel given the material, they didn’t utilize the period aspect enough.
What I really wanted was to see how batman’s weapon arsenal and problem-solving was adapted to the restrictions of the times, but mostly everything happening could’ve occurred the exact same in the current day.

- A good plot twist w Gordon being the killer
- Especially since it’s a diff universe it’s nice to see something different
