I don’t even know where to begin.
I recognize that live action adaptations have to be altered due to effects and such that just can’t be done realistically. I also appreciate taking liberties in adding original ideas to set your film apart from the anime and/or manga. However, they changed way too many things that made this story endearing, and that sparked our love for these characters. They even resorted to taking main characters out from what I’ve read solely because they couldn’t find a way to make the main character stand out more. This was truly disappointing, and I definitely won’t be watching part two. I don’t even want to know what they have to offer.
