Aftersun

Subtle yet haunting. It’s a slow and delicate movie and even though the ending seems really quiet, it punches you in the gut with emotions once you put the whole picture together.

This one should’ve taken home academy awards best picture without a doubt. 🏆

really good but i fell asleep and there’s a shot of his butt i didn’t like and i got confused at some parts of the movie tbh

This movie hurts in one of the best ways. Having a loss of someone important in your life because of depression and suicide can be difficult. Aftersun reminds us that it is always more complicated than we think. Survivor’s guilt is never fun.

it was very aesthetically pleasing and nostalgic but wasn’t good enough for me to cry or smth

Omg this was something
After seeing some stuff on tiktok i thought it’ll be a well spread out story but it took me a while to understand what was happening i was lost asf
It was insanely sad especially the ending, i dont think i can listen to under pressure the same anymore😞
