A Haunting in Venice

Director and star Kenneth Branagh’s third outing as Agatha Christie’s brilliant and persnickety detective is his most satisfying turn yet… briskly entertaining Agatha Christie comfort food with a larger theme about the secret we carry, something more ghostly and spiritual.

6.6 - My favorite of the Branagh/Poirot mystery trilogy easily, but still kinda low overall. It fixed almost everything I didn’t love about the others - CGI, settings, cast/character interaction. But the story isn’t engaging. It’s almost all completely forgettable.

idk why they keep making these movies bc i don’t think they’re doing that well at the box office but i don’t care & i will keep watching them
