One of my grandfathers favours films and I must say… He has great taste (although Full Metal Jacket is still better in my opinion lol).
Great cast and sets, tense moments, and a very substantial film with the pacing being pretty good. Amazing watch if you find WW2 interesting.

A great telling of Operation Market Garden - a plan to save hundreds of thousands of lives by ending the war early. This was based on paratroops capturing all the key bridges and holing them until the tanks of 30 Corps could punch through and reinforce them. 80 year anniversary.
