300: Rise of an Empire

A good historical movie, both 300 and 300 Rise of an Empire. If you like the battle genre, then I suggest you watch both movies. Both the pacing and story are good. I would give it 7.4 out of 10.

300: Rise of an Empire

I do not remember the first being this bad. Apart from the washed-out visuals and overbearing slow motion, there's nothing I could understand or find memorable. The more Zack Synder movies I see, the more I find him disturbing. This is something I'm sure I've written in primary school. The good guys vs the bad with overexposed exposition and terrible casting. If the point was to be surrounded by aimless testosterone (from the 'good' guys only, of course) then I don't see why this was made. I somehow liked the first and probably because it's the only rewatchable Synder production I've seen.

It’s not as good as it’s predecessor, but it still gets the job done!

a good sequel to a FANTASTIC movie but not as strong as the first one, it definitely gets your blood pumping though , and fuck you Xerxes, 8/10
