I think i may like this one a little more than the first film mainly due to the fact that it’s more fast paced but the original is still pretty good.

I was going to watch 28 Days Later and I didn’t know there’s a sequel to it, I didn’t realize this was the wrong one/sequel so I accidentally watched this instead. (The entire time I was like “where’s Cillian Murphy?” lmao)
It was, however, one of my favorite zombie movies to date. I haven’t seen anything so special in terms of style in a zombie movie ever since Shaun of the Dead and Zombieland.
This movie has one of the strongest opening scene I’ve ever seen in an apocalypse movie. The music and editing really hits hard and puts you in the main character’s perspective. While the overall plot is weak at times, the sense of dread, desperation, and having no place to run is very strong and present. I thoroughly enjoyed the film and cannot wait to finally actually watch the first one people speak so highly of.
