Run Away

Typical Harlan Coben slop. I wouldn't necessarily call any of his stories bad, but when they're adapted to screen, it's hard to call them good. The acting is dry and underwhelming. The story is predictable and lazy. The pacing is messy and slow in the latter half. The characters are jarring and unoriginal. The sound work is overdramatic and comedic. I do see an audience for this, but a very small one. All in all, I'd probably rank this in the bottom quarter of all Coben projects yet.

Not bad. I think it took an episode or two to get off the ground. It’s enjoyable to a certain degree but then gets a bit confusing in places. It didn’t require 8 episodes could’ve been handled in 6 as the characters weren’t interesting enough for all that. I give it 6.5/10

In typical Conan style, there are many stories going on at once as well as so many plot, twists, and turns that you can actually keep up with however, once you think you have it figured out you’re trying to figure something else out. Great performances!

This series really starts to pick up a few episodes in. It’s worth sticking it out for. It’s a great watch for sure.
