Update (2/18/2026): Ok I spoke too soon they have me bought in now lol. They honestly could’ve just put the important info from episodes 1 & 2 in the beginning of episode 3 and went from there. I’m still not a fan of the short episodes but the last 2 episodes especially finally have me feeling like this show might not be a huge drop off from the original after all. Hopefully they just keep focusing on maintaining the quality of the writing and give up on the stupid shock value moments they hope will go viral at the expense of actual substance.

Original (January 2026): Very early obviously but not a great start. A more comedic tone than other GoT shows and not in an actually funny way but in a trying too hard to be funny way. Also naked male backsides are never going to help a show get additional points. Hopefully it gets better but my expectations are already low.
